I threw this little website together because my kids were getting into knock knock jokes. I hope you like it!

So far we have 244 jokes, and counting - do you know one we could add?

There's also a 'screensaver mode' for anyone that can use a web page in place of their screen saver (like you can on the Mac, for example). Use https://knockknock.fun/?screensaver=yes as the website url to get it in 'screensaver mode'.

This site is built using a small PHP script, a Yaml data file and a few Twig templates, CSS etc. There's no database, no CMS and no Javascript, trackers, cookies or ads anywhere. It turns out the .fun domain is one of the cheapest to register, and the web hosting is pretty low-end. The pages are just about mobile-friendly, and look decent enough on desktop too.
